Marion Nestle, Ph.D., M.P.H., is the Paulette Goddard Professor of Nutrition, Food Studies, and Public Health, Emerita, at New York University. Despite retiring as a professor in 2017, Dr. Nestle regularly comes to work in her university office and still publishes books and blogs five times a week on her website, Food Politics, which has nearly 5,000 posts. Her work has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including New York University’s Fales Library naming its collection on food studies after her. In 2023, she received the Edinburgh Medal for science in the public interest, cementing her reputation as the leading authority on all things food related.
